Anna Wilder Burns is an award winning filmmaker and photographer focused on impactful stories of athletes, adventurers, and activists.
With a background in Journalism and as a former D1 athlete, Anna combines her passions to tell stories spanning the conservation, adventure, and sports spaces that inspire change. A multi-faceted and self-taught creative, most of Anna’s work is as a Cinematographer and Director. She’s done work for brands including Nike, Redbull, and Oakley, created festival-winning films, and featured work in The New York Times, Outside Magazine, and The Players Tribune.
Anna was born and raised outside of Portland, Maine, and currently resides in Southern California. Between shoots, Anna spends her free time surfing, skiing, and exploring earth’s wild places with a camera in hand.
